For the first time BREATH participates at the Cystic Fibrosis Charity Run with its own team

Every year the charity run of the Mukoviszidose e.V. takes place in Hanover. This year, members of BREATH participated for the first time with their own team.

283 - This is how many laps the BREATH team has made in this year's charity run of the Mukoviszidose e.V. A total of 15 runners from the BREATH office, pneumology and HTTG took part. Even Prof. Dr. Tobias Welte, BREATH site director, joined in.

But not only employees of the university were on site. The children and partners of BREATH members also contributed to the success of the running team. The organizer of the cystic fibrosis run, Insa Krey, was especially pleased about the participation of Dr. Igor Tudorache, who transplanted her several years ago.

With their participation, the runners were able to collect € 400 from their sponsor InfectoPharm. The donations will benefit the project "Haus Schutzenegel". In the house near the MHH cystic fibrosis patients and their relatives can spend the night for only little money during long hospital stays, e.g. transplantations.

A great project - BREATH will definitively participate again next year!
