The Lung Science Meeting 2025 will take place on November 17–18, 2025 at Hannover Medical School (MHH).
This scientific event is held under the patronage of the DZL Academy, the German Respiratory Society (DGP), and the Society for Pediatric Pneumology (GPP). The Lung Science Meeting aims to bring together basic, translational, and clinical researchers to shape the future of lung science through scientific exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.
What makes this meeting unique?
- Present and discuss your research with leading experts in an inspiring and interactive setting
- First joint event uniting researchers and clinicians from both pediatric and adult pulmonology societies
- Excellent opportunities to network and connect with partners in cutting-edge translational lung research
Shape the program with your research
The scientific program will be built entirely on the submitted abstracts and framed by inspiring keynote lectures. This is your opportunity to actively contribute: abstracts will be selected for either oral presentations or poster sessions. The selection will be made by an expert review committee composed of experienced researchers and clinicians. By submitting your work, you help shape the meeting’s content – and may become one of its featured speakers.
Who should attend?
- Clinical researchers focusing on lung disease
- Basic scientists working in the field of lung research
- Scientists (basic or clinical) developing cross-disciplinary approaches to prevention, diagnosis, and therapy
From early-career researchers to experienced PostDocs – this meeting is for everyone shaping the future of lung research.
